This article is talking about people who are coming from Ebola affected countries into Canada being treated as if they are sick. I think the article is arguing more that the precautions taken on these people are taken too far sometimes. It talks about how travelers coming to Canada will be either classified as low-risk or high-risk. They are also putting health workers on these 21 day trials which is bad because they’re losing workers for 21 days that they need. Even if there are no symptoms of illness a person still has to undergo a 21 day self monitoring including taking your temperature twice a day. If you show any sign of being sick you would be immediately isolated to a health care center or to stay at home for 21 days. I think this is important and will affect Canadians. I think there’s an argument if they should continue this or not. Some travelers who don’t show signs of illness may not want to agree with this 21 day monitoring, while others may think it’s a precaution that needs to be taken
- Do you think everyone coming to Canada from Ebola affected even those who don’t show signs of being sick should be put in the 21 day monitoring?
